Scott joined Oswald Financial, Inc. (OFI) in July of 2016 as a Senior Client Manager for the Retirement Plan Services division with more than 18 years of experience in the retirement plan industry. He serves as the plan sponsor’s dedicated service contact to recognize, strategize, convey, and execute efficient retirement benefit solutions to reduce fiduciary risk. He also works to enrich the retirement benefits they offer and augment employee education and retirement plan understanding.
Prior to joining Oswald Financial, Inc. Scott worked with a national retirement plan provider as a Team Leader for 13 years. In this position he was responsible for resolving complex issues that could not be addressed by the normal assigned service team. This involved working with 401(k), Non-Qualified and Defined Benefit Plans. His main areas of expertise included unique service models, integrating outside trading platforms, developing complex processing procedures for Company Stock, and reviewing and implementing new conversion plan provisions/procedures to mitigate risk. He also worked as an analyst for an actuarial firm for some time and a national bank reconciling retirement plan trust accounts.
Scott attended Baldwin-Wallace University in Berea, Ohio and graduated with an Accounting degree. He is a certified QKA and QPA with ASPPA. He enjoys numerous outdoor activities including golf and has been a youth baseball and football coach for six years. He resides in North Ridgeville with his wife Lisa, and their three children.
