Gregory works with families to help protect, grow and transfer wealth with a constant focus on tax efficiency. The main goal for his clients is to increase and preserve the value of their largest assets whether that be investment accounts or private business interests.
Gregory earned his degree in finance from John Carroll University at the Boler School of Business. While employed by Lincoln Electric, he served as a special project corporate accountant. His passion for the financial markets led him to a role as a fixed income specialist with KeyBanc Capital Markets in the Corporate Investment Services group, managing over $10 billion in institutional investments. His experience built the base for his deep knowledge of the capital markets and shaped his tax and risk centric investment philosophy. Gregory built his advisory practice between Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch, before taking his practice and clients independent.Gregory joined Oswald in 2013.
He takes great pride in guiding families through critical life stages, involving both their business and their family, while leveraging a collaborative network of tax specialists, estate attorneys, business consultants, valuation experts, bankers, CPAs and other specialized professionals that offer each client an out-of-the-box approach to their family’s planning issues. Gregory’s life’s work helps families to pass on wealth for generations, ensure family values are preserved from multigenerational gifting, fund quality education for family members and provide freedom to keep families strong.
Gregory resides with his wife and son in Cleveland. He has served as aboard member of the Cleveland Public Theatre, a non-profit theatre in the Gordon Square Arts District. He is now involved with the Breakthrough Schools, an alternative school dedicated to create outstanding scholars and citizens from Cleveland’s inner city youth. In his free time, Gregory enjoys traveling with his family and exploring the culture and food of new cities.
